Fabric Covering and Repair
Woychuk’s Aviation Services, has many years of experience in the repair and restoration of fabric covered aircraft. The first step is to inspect the fabric and if required test it in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Depending on the covering material, quite often complete replacement may not be required. Patching and rejuvenation of the finish may be all that is required to keep you flying for many more years. If recovering is necessary, then we can completely recover and finish the aircraft as you wish.
Fabric covered aircraft are prone to small tears and punctures. Attending to this damage quickly is important to ensure that it does not lead to the need for more significant repair in the future. Woychuk’s has the ability to repair all fabric damage, with the repair designed to blend in as closely as possible with the original design.
